Antitower & Climbing Limsa Crystal Pillars

Clearing a MSQ dungeon, and learning a new climb at Limsa.

━━━ Antitower (1st time) ━━━

This fantastical dungeon is gorgeous and surreal.
But its boss... is 1 out of a Horror movie.

━━━ Limsa Crystal Pillar ━━━

While hanging out with Arlen and Astar at Limsa Lowerdeck, Astar suddenly climbed up a pillar near the Aetheryte Crystal. Another hopped up to the opposite edge as well.

I tried to get up to stand beside them, but decided after some time to find myself a lone pillar with no one on, to learn how to climb it.

I asked Astar to teach me. The general method they're using (Arlen as well) is to jump into the edge of it, back facing the pillar's wall.

Describing the difficulties:

• The indentation/groove of the hitbox is pretty hard to catch...
  I began questioning if 30fps settings did anything. Was struggling with trying various directions of jumps, with different angles.
• The actual jump is at the higher segment of the pillar, meaning we had to climb up to it every attempt. This can be frustrating.
• Trying to land too close to the middle, you'll bump onto an the wall (no indentation to climb on).
• Trying to land too close to the edge, you'll likely get brushed off across the convex corner surface. And have to climb back there again.

By the end of it all,

I managed to get both forward and backward jumps to work.
I think that backwards jumping does help a bit; the jagged movements of the camera when you brush off the vertical indentation is visible. It seemed more consistent than the front-facing jumps I was doing.
But I couldn't consistently perform it to get up there, and I'm not used to back hops.

━━━ Market Entrance Pillar ━━━ Arlen showed me another odd place to be on. There's a pillar near the entrance of the market place. You could get up on its base's ledge at the base. This 1's much simpler, running jump from bench ledge.
Arlen told me there's more of these kinds of jumping spots here at Limsa Lominsa. I guess I'll discover them in time~
