The House of the πDeadπ; Machinist π«π«π« Dream Team Edition.
My very first time trying PotD~

━━━ PotD(50) [3 MCH + 1 WHM] ━━━
Wulfski invited me to party up with Ling and Art for the Palace of the Dead.
Wulf was the healer, the rest of us were DPS.
We had no tank but Wulf said its doable, and we went in just like that.
When we were in, some immediate changes we noticed were that
our UIs resembled that of the retro blue FF UI,
and our weapons were glowing.
Wulfski guided us, and I began to learn the fundamentals of PotD;
- Use Pomanders in an altered Character Info (also for when we can't carry more).
- Pomanders uses (Sight and Rage stood out to me)
- Mimics are bronze... but honestly... I still can't tell. Thought bronze meant it was sparkling red, but nope.
- Purple ball marks the exit to next floor, but only opens after a criteria is met.
- An idea of what mobs to watch out for (in the later floors).
- Look away from Final floor boss's Cold Feet skill. We were wiped at least twice by its Hysteria debuff because we didn't know we could avoid it.
I found myself naturally leaning towards a stealth-loot play style; sneaking into rooms to loot Silver & Pomander (gold-red) chests where fights might be unnecessary. I found it thrilling and engaging (Must I kill 1? Will they detect me?).

I saw Meynan briefly mentioned doing 200 floors & I thought he was joking. But... I guess that's really what the future holds.
We appraised our Bronze-trimmed Sacks and got some goodies. Nothing too special for me though.
━━━ BLM Lv60 Rotations... ━━━
After Wulfski left the party, Ling asked me to check her BLM rotations (like if its done right). We teleported to Bentbranch and headed to the Bannock to demostrate our rotations...
Despite my level, her's was way more proper than mine; using Triplecast in between to bypass cooldowns for combo.
Mine is pretty adhoc; like my basic rotation is with Freeze, Fire 3, Enochian, Fire 4 a few times, repeat...
My Triplecast and Ley Lines is usually reserved for tankier mobs, and when I know the map segments better. But I tend to Sharpcast whenever I can with Fire 4 though.
I don't really have an optimized proper rotation because lower level syncs might mess me up (Muscle memory are you with me). My hotkey layouts for BLM is to cater for lower level rotations as well...
Kinda configure it as and when I feel comfortable.
Speaking of which, I find myself rarely having to use Flare, now that Enochian and Fire 4's a thing...
maybe I should get use to Triplecasting; but sometimes it just doesn't light up though..
━━━ Frontlines & Photos ━━━
We went for a round of Frontlines.
Our team got 2nd placeth but it was a really close battle.
Our team trampled on Immortal Flame's base, which felt really fun;
right up till the Maelstrom stormed ours and overtook us lol.
We wanted to go for another but it doesn't look like enough people were joining.
So we decided to take some pictures before heading to sleep. We tried posing at the Bannock with bunny outfits, but it didn't fit the scene. So we moved to the Gold Saucer.
