Ward 24 & my 1st Jump Puzzle

🗼 On an island, not too far off the coast of Shrogane...

I recently uploaded a «NAKED»-related video.
And I'm overjoyed to see that people really liked it -^^-

I got to chat with Truc again, and I learn about the existence of SB's jump quests. I had been itching to try 1, but I was still at HW.
*In terms of correctness, I'll be using "jump quests" interchangably with "jump puzzles" as that's what was introduced*

Later today while doing my MSQ, I bumped into Childe and Rainer at New Gridania.

And Yre bumped into me soon after, while I shared about the vid with Childe;;
I went on to asked if there were any jump quest(s) that were accessible from HW.

Rainer invited me to party along with Childe, and showed me a spot over at Mor Dhona.
I found the history interesting; How before flying mounts were introduced into ARR, climbing it and sitting up there was a thing.
I did flew back to some checkpoints to save some time. But it's not like you could just land anywhere. I guess there's a tiny bit of bragging right to getting up there with seemingly no mount then.

The climb kinda stopped (or so, that I've explored up to) at the ropes suspended high above.
Childe also stopped after a while. He wasn't fond of jumping-related activities.

I asked again if there are any jump quest I could access, where flying is restricted; to experience it as it was intended. Like perhaps within the cities.
Rainer had a place in mind, but had to confirm if I could visit their FC's house first.
I had access to it from Childe's Estate Teleportation, under Friend List.
So we headed there, Childe split from us.

━━━ SHIROGANE ━━━

I've been to Shirogane before. But for the longest time, I've never pieced it together that it was from SB.

Rainer went up pretty quick, meaning there's definitely a trick to it.
The puzzle was pretty tough because it has a string of short jumps; meaning this 1's 'bout consistency & recognizing distance.
But theory is 1 thing, and hands-on practical is another.

I spent a pretty long time at the bottom just trying to build and nail the momentum and flow. I knew that if I wanted up fast, I had to fail fast (but thoughtfully lel)...

As I found myself hesitating less and going with the flow, the consistency of my jumps tighten. The only places that broke it then became the few isolated platforms near the end. Due to the slight change of angles, and no-safety falls.

But before I knew it, I was up.

I asked if these puzzles were part of the Sightseeing Logs, and it was; it only made sense that it would be.

I didn't want to leave that place... but I had to go down to move on.
I don't mind having another go at it when I'm at SB haha...
When I have "Complete Sightseeing Logs" as a reason to.
There's beauty in the climb.

After saying my goodbyes with Rainer, I logged out.

In the night, I went to play PvP with Arlen and Astar.
But to my surprise... while running around from where I logged in from and queuing for PvP,
I ran into «NAKED»'s FC house.

That coincidence kinda blew my mind that «LIONE» and «NAKED» were sharing the same Ward,
as with learning that Noctis was Monty's neighbor in Goblet. Monty got a new house too~

I'm kinda happy that people are getting the houses they want already
